Floral Design may not seem like a likely career for some but LaTasha Lee is curating a melanin path for others to see. Her brand of Tasha Flowers is crafting floral delights that are blooming in her hometown of Baltimore, MD. The Charm City started years ago and was self-taught through the inspiration of other floral designers. She decided to take her craft even further by attend a local college to earn her certification in Retail Floristry.

“Floral design is special to me. It’s one of those jobs that allows your own personality to flow through your fingertips and into the smiles and hearts of your customers,” says LaTasha Lee. She dreams in color to curate vivid designs for all occasions. “Colors, textures, feathers and ribbon are my playground,” she continues. Despite the pandemic many are still hosting socially distanced gatherings and her crafted designs are blooming for all to enjoy.

Whether it’s your engagement party, wedding day, drive-by graduation party, homegoing celebration or birthday, Tasha Flowers has you covered. Botanical creations are also special for holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and more. Tasha Flowers will even be open at their current location of 515 E. Belvedere Street in Baltimore, MD for a pop-up shop between February 1–14, 2021.

Love is in the air for Valentine’s Day and all occasions for full service designing of fresh cuts, gourmet chocolates, chocolate covered strawberries, locally made greeting cards, plush accessories and more. “When I started Tasha Flowers, I just wanted to create art,” LaTasha continues. Her vibrant works of art are on display to blossom in each customer’s life. The use of color, symmetry, texture and balance are what charm her services into the hands of her Charm City customers.
